What is KannaKickback?

The KannaKickback

The KannaKickback is the KannaKrew's annual 420-friendly Christmas party and community toy drive. Launched in 2020, we're now in our sixth year. The vibe is festive and cannabis-friendly—think KannaKlaus, elves, games, and lots of gifts and giveaways—while keeping the focus on doing real good together by helping kids in need.

It's a growing, tradition-building celebration that rallies the KannaKrew and wider community each December with games, gifts, food, vendors, and a clear mission to make the holiday season better for families in need.

Why The Sojourner Center?

Since KannaKickback 3, we've partnered with Sojourner Center—a cause chosen because someone in the Krew was directly helped by them.

Everyone always forgets about the kids. The children who leave with women from battered homes—nobody really thinks about them. Without what we're doing, they won't have a good Christmas.

We are the largest group donor to the Sojourner Center at the holidays for the last three years. If there's anything the KannaKrew knows how to do, it's have a good time—and we're making sure those kids do too.

Why Sojourner Center?

Sojourner Center has been a safe haven from domestic violence in Arizona since 1977. As one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the United States, they transform lives by providing shelter and support services to adults and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Their services include:

  • 124-bed emergency shelter (up to 120 days)
  • 32 transitional housing apartments (up to 2 years)
  • 24-hour hotline (602-244-0089)
  • Counseling, case management, and legal advocacy
  • Job readiness, housing support, and safety planning
  • Child development center and parenting classes
  • Pet companion services for families with animals

About The Event

Is there an entrance fee?

No! KannaKickback is 100% FREE to attend. No tickets, no cover charge, nothing. Just bring yourself and a toy to donate!

What time does the event start and end?

Doors open at 2:00 PM and the event runs until 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Is this 21+ only?

Yes, KannaKickback is a 21+ event due to its 420-friendly nature.

Where do I park?

Parking is available at Ginza in Gold Canyon. Additional parking details will be shared closer to the event date.

What should I bring?

Just yourself and a new, unwrapped toy to donate! Everything else (food, fun, giveaways) is provided.

About Donating

What toys should I donate?

New, unwrapped toys for ages 0-17. Popular items include board games, dolls, action figures, art supplies, sports equipment, books, and gift cards.

Can I donate used toys or gently used items?

We prefer new toys, but gently used items in excellent condition are sometimes acceptable. Contact us first if you're unsure.

Can I donate money instead of toys?

At this time, we're focused on toy donations. However, you can use monetary donations to purchase toys and bring them to a box location or the event!

Where are the donation boxes located?

Boxes are at Ginza (Gold Canyon) and Fancy Pets Grooming (Tempe). See full locations here. More locations coming soon!

When is the last day to donate?

December 15, 2025 is the final collection day. But the best place to donate is at the event on December 6!

About Partnering

How do I become a vendor?

Fill out the vendor application. It's 100% FREE for vendors—no booth fees! We have limited booth space, so reach out soon if you're interested.

What does it cost to be a vendor?

Nothing! Vendor booths are completely free. We just ask that you bring great products and positive energy. Prize donations for giveaways are appreciated but not required.

Can my business host a donation box?

Yes! Fill out the box host application. We provide the box and signage, promote your location on social media, and handle all pickups. It's free and great for community goodwill.

Are sponsorship opportunities available?

Yes! We offer custom sponsorship packages. Contact us to discuss how we can work together.
